Hey everyone...how'd the first day of school go? Any good stories...like kid on the wrong bus, feigning illnesses, funny/crazy mornings, etc? I'm awake because I have first-day jitters on behalf of my daughter who enters kindergarten tomorrow.

She's sound asleep.

My kindergartener had a good first day. I had to laugh later about the difference between my approach to the morning and my husbands: I was at DEFCON 2 making breakfast, making lunches, running to Walgreens to buy more film, etc. while he was relaxed and just enjoyed his time with the boys. :)
DEFCON 2...Hilarious! Glad your K student had a good first day!
How did school go for her?
So far, so good for our lad. Hooray!
Back to school...
Already the thrill of social resurgence has begun to take over our lives.
How sweet were the days of quiet summer afternoons. Do the kids really need to make plans with every friend they haven't seen in two months... today?
Miss Nicole loved the first day of first grade - she nearly jumped on the bus. My big problem is that the after-school care program is booked - and we're hustling to handle that after-school responsibility.
