ErieMoms

One night, we took our daughters out to dinner at French Creek Tavern. While we were waiting for our food, and our girls were coloring the paper place mats, we started a discussion of "what do you want to be or do when you grow up."

My daughter, Julia, who was six at the time, said, "Well, you don't have to worry about me getting married because YOU stole MY guy!" (referring to my husband--her dad!).

I said, "stole your guy?"

"Yes, if you wouldn't have married dad, I would have."

So I asked her, "WHY would you want to marry dad?"

Her answer while she was still coloring away, "Because he is cute....and funny....and sensitive."

"Sensitive? What does sensitive mean?," I asked her.

The response: "I don't know, but you say he isn't and I think he is!"
