Help, my 2 year old (27 months) keeps taking her diaper and clothes of during the night and nap time while sleeping in her crib! I have to change her sheets every day and it has been very cumbersome. Today I did it twice and mind you I only have 3 crib sheets so it looks like I have to get more and doing laundry every other day. Any advice on how to keep her from taking her diaper off during sleep time? This started about 3 days ago and she does wear a onesie and pulls that off too. All I can think of is getting her potty trained asap and that has not been easy. She doesn't seem to be bothered by being wet. Do you think she needs to be in a toddler bed so that when she has to go to the potty, she can get up and go? She does not take her diaper off during the time she is awake. I have no idea. Any other suggestions?

Have you considered switching to pull-ups and getting her excited about big girl pants?

If that fails, I have a friend who used duct tape to keep her daughter's diaper on when she hit this stage!
I have put her in pull ups and she takes them off too. I may try the duck tape if it comes to that point, thanks for the tip. She is not into the big pants, she does not get that she needs to go in the potty yet. Zoe tells me when she pees, but doesn't always want to do it in the potty. She went on the floor today right beside her potty, so we have a long way to go.
Put her clothes, including diaper on backwards. This worked for my sister.
Thanks for the suggestion. that is a good idea so I will put her PJ's on backwards and she won't be able to get to the zipper!

So far this is working and Zoe has not taken her diaper off because she can't get her onesie off when it is on backwards!! Yay!
I've also heard of putting the baby's diaper on backwards. She might not be able to reach the tabs if they are placed in the back:)
Get the Little Keeper Sleeper. NO safety pins, duct tape or putting sleepers on backwards. Don't put your child in a sleeper that doesn't fit correctly, especially around their neck. This company created the perfect sleeper that all parents of toddlers should have. See for yourself at www.littlekeepersleeper.com
My suggestion is to if she isnt potty trained by now is to put the diaper on backwards... works with my 2yr..
