I am a divorced mom of a 2 1/2-year-old active little boy. I was hoping to meet other single moms as to exchange ideas, support, and talk about the best places to meet good guys. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Hi! My name is Kelly, and though I'm not currently single I've been there in the last five years. I just got remarried 3 yrs ago. I have a 2 1/2 yr old boy and 2 mo. old boy. My friend is not married and she has a 2 1/2yr old and 2 mo. old too. She is with the father, but not married. We're always looking for people to hang out with! There is an open gym at Family First sports park on Thursday at 10am. There are lots of moms and 2-3yr old kids. The kids have a blast! (and single dads come, too!) Hi Kelly! Thanks for responding! It would be great to be involved with other single Erie moms, and of course single dads! It is nice to be able to share with people who have been there and understand what you are going through. Unfortunately I work Thursday mornings so we will not be able to meet you guys there. Many of the churches have moms groups. Some have single mom support groups. The best place to meet good guys? At church, or when you're volunteering. When you get involved in the community you will meet people men and women. In the summer at the zoo and local playgrounds. Get out there, take a walk around your neighborhood, look in the paper and showcase the mommy groups are always listed.

I know this is crazy but I would like to see if your brother and I may be compatible! I have never done anything like this before, it is always nice to meet new people and who couldn't use another friend! I enjoy exercising, baking, scrapbooking, garage saling, reading, gardening, walking at the peninsula, playing with my son and enjoying life.
