Where to shop

Just found out I'm accompanying my husband to a charity ball next weekend. Some men will be wearing tuxes, so I'm thinking I need a killer dress. Any suggestions on where to shop locally?

AJs and/or Chameleon in the Colony Plaza typically have nice dresses. You might check with Leslie McCallister at Thrifty Shopper or Sassy Peacock if you don't mind the "reused" option. There's also a new place by Sam's Club (once again thrift shop, but nice).

I've always had luck at Macy's -- they have a nice "fancy dress" dept. just inside the store past the makeup counters.

If you're looking for a bargain, try a place like the Sassy Peacock -- a consignment store.

Thanks! I went this morning and ended up finding a bargain at Macy's. (Which meant I could splurge on a pair of shoes too!)
