ErieMoms

Growing up in the mountains of northern central Pennsylvania as a kid, I was always bringing home little items from forest and streams ... a rock, a bug a piece of knotted wood I just felt I couldn't leave behind. I'd always bring it home to my mother and show her my special find, my gift of "beauty".

Mother's Day is always a chance to reconnect with that innocent time in your life when "beauty" was everywhere and was something you wanted to share - especially with Mom.

This Mother's Day give Mom something you feel is beautiful. A letter, a bouquet of flowers from your garden, find something that you find beautiful in the wilderness you wander everyday and share it with her. Recognition of these - little things of beauty - we find around us each day can still be celebrated on this special day (and hopefully every day).

Give yourself the simple gift of connection to things that bring you joy and give Mom "beauty" this Mother's Day.
