ErieMoms

Hi everyone! My name is Christina. My husband, son, and I are moving to the Erie area this summer. My Mom is relocating with us as well. My Dad passed away Dec 26th. My husband is origionally from Fairview and still works in Edinboro. He makes the commute from Boardman, OH every day! His entire family is in the Fairview/Springfield area. We are so excited to be moving up to Erie. I fell in love with the area through our courtship, as we spent much time at Presque Isle, Splash Lagoon, etc. I work in the medical field as a Certified Coder. There seems to be many oportunities for the field up there. I am looking forward to finding new friends. If anyone has a lead on houses or property, we are currently looking for a home. Any information about the area and childrens activities would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to finding friends,
Christina Terry

Welcome to our community. I live in Fairview, as do my parents. Must joins - depending on your kids' ages - are the Erie Zoo and the ExpERIEnce Children's Museum.
Villa Maria Elementary, Camp Notre Dame and Penn State Behrend run great kid summer programs.
The Fairview schools are wonderful.
ErieHousetoHome.com features the homes that are profiled in the newspaper's Saturday homes section.

Hi Christina,

Welcome back to Erie. I highly recommend the Edinboro/McKean areas. My son is graduating from General McLane schools this year and the school district is excellent. I see that you are a coder. We have openings at Saint Vincent. I was HIM Director here for 10 years and enjoyed my coders. If you'd like more information, let me know.

Jumpin Jungle is on main road by Giant Eagle in Girard. It's an inexpensive fun time for any kid, it has those blow up "rides" you see at many local fairs. They also have intriguing day and "drop in" camp-like days or programs available. You can often find some coupons for them online at places like HalfOffErie.com, etc. their site is www.jumpinjungle4fun.com

I have a good friend who is a very good realtor. If you're interested his name is Scott Barnes 881-8889. I can promise he'll be very attentive. He's a really nice guy. I like the area around Seneca High School it's not over populated yet, no heavy (Peach St) traffic, the school is good, yet you're close to thruway and just as close to hunting and fishing spots.
