I am looking for a play group or play place I can take my children to. My daughter is almost two and my son is 7 months. I haven't heard of any places I can do this unless I wanted to put them in daycare; which is not an option. I would like it to be a fun thing for us to do together. Does Family First have anything for young children? Any info. is helpful. Thanks in advance.

There are several things you can do. LB gets play time while I work out at the gym, we sometimes hit up ChikFilA, McDs, Burger K for their playgrounds. Also there in Jumping Jungle, the childrens museum (awesome!) and story times which Im not familiar with yet.  There is also a playplace at "ALL SEASONS" Ive heard a couple of moms talk about, but I havent checked it out yet.

Family first also has open toddler gym time on...thursdays? I think thats when I go. its $4 a person I believe. Id have to double check.

Oh yes and the indoor water park splash lagoon, Im still checking into that to. it sounds like a blast, they have a toddler section but it is expensive.

Saint Vincent hosts a Mommy and Me Playgroup at the Saint Vincent Women's Center on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., September through May.  You have a chance to hit the last one on May 17 and then they will be done until September.  Might want to try it out. If you like it, start going back next fall. Good luck.
